Our clinic — easily accessible by foot, bike, bus, and car — is located on the first floor of 223 Lisbon Street in downtown Lewiston, Maine (see map below).
The clinic is street level, with a single riser that’s about an inch up from the sidewalk. Assistance is available for those with mobility concerns (a courtesy call/text would be greatly appreciated so we can be ready to help.)
The closest parking garage is Centreville Parking Garage (also known as the Canal St. Garage, pictured below). Parking is free in this garage for the first hour, then it’s $1 for each additional hour.
There is one also one hour metered parking on Lisbon St. and Pine St.
The building in which we are located has a very interesting history as the former location of Le Messager, the French-language newspaper that served the Franco-American community in Lewiston and Auburn from 1880-1966. The building is also an official location of the National Votes for Women Trail, where feminist and journalist, Camille Lessard Bissonette, has been recognized for her advocacy for suffrage in Maine and Canada. Check out her commemorative plaque (near the entrance to the clinic) next time you enter this richly historical spot. Seriously. HOW COOL IS THAT?!
